Brad  has worked as a laborer in a marina, deck hand on a shrimp boat,  assembler and planning engineer in a tractor assembly plant, driver in  the oilfield, carpenter and foreman on a bridge building crew, vice  president of manufacturing and executive director for a local  construction company.  In 2002, he became a licensed general contractor,  he began building spec homes, garages, room additions and other  projects.  Hawthorne Homes Construction, Inc. was started in 2008.
